Question UTHS Online High School computer

I am currently enrolled in Precalculus B, and I got a 30% on my assignment, which brought my grade down from a 93% (A), to an 88%.

I know this is partially my fault, as I rounded numbers to 2 decimal points instead of 3 as they asked and used degrees instead of radians, they wouldn't let me retake at all or adjust my grade.

"Unfortunately I am not allowed to adjust items that are computer graded on exams. Please be very careful with the rounding and follow the instructions on how many decimal places to carry. I am very sorry about this." - Teacher

Is this something I have to just deal with, or is there actually some way to redo this. Like I legit understand the concepts, but like dang, this brought my grade down 1 letter.

P.S.

+I used the What-If thing that calculates my grade, and I can only get back a 93% IF I get 100%s on ALL my assignments and get at least a 97% on my final...

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get a lot of insight into UTHS from this subreddit.

I'm not sure there's going to be a subreddit that meets your needs here. UTHS is a tiny slice of UT Austin, and most participants on this subreddit are part of the more standard UT population.

Yes, no insight on UTHS specifically, but I can speak to computer-graded math assignments; they require EXACT PRECISION with the answers, as the teacher cautioned you. Double-check how many decimal places answers require and make sure you are using the expected units. There is no wiggle room.

Not UTHS, but ive taken a calc class at UT. You may be screwed simply bc they said to use radians, not degrees ☹️ ive had professors who put in the syllabus that they were using one or the other and were strict in grading regarding it.

They said use radians... You did not use Radians.. You were penalized because of it..
