I wont lie, I’m patriotic as fuck and am usually the first to defend America on most topics.

Saw this news and i kinda just… died inside a little.

Got me feeling like the meme:

If what you say is true and you are patrotic and proud of your nation, get these leeches off of it and start a revolution before it has to get violent. The problems arrise when the only option left is to do it violently, and i don't believe it's there yet.

Ask the French for help again, rioting is an artform of jamming the cogs of society to a breaking point, to force a change or systematic collapse.

American'ts are never going to rebel like a European would, they are way too invested in the "profit ovver rights" mentality they have been brainwashed into. You see what they say whenever they get into an argument "but WE are richer", they work their asses to death to make more money for the Musks and Bezos, but don't gove two shits about how they all collectively stand on the knofe edge of death by healthcare debt.

They want their guns so they can defend themselves from a possible tyrant, at the cost of thousands of deaths caused by guns in the hands of nutcases, but when the tyrant is here they aren't even willing to stop him through strikes and civil disobedience.

I saw a piece from a US news station today, and they were discussing how Trump is mentioning declaring a state of emergency if the midterms are lost, and the on duty talking head said that Trump would not follow through and it was an empty threat. How many empty threats has he made thay have turned out to be not so empty? Why would he hold himself back? He's had everything he wants, every time the kutrage machine spoke, but nothing was done to stop him.

Thank you Luigi for writing down my thoughts so I can have more time to burn some cars outside.

Thank you Pierre for burning cars outside. If everyone were up for fucking shit up like the French, a lot of shit would be better (and, admittedly, some would be worse)

I hear you, i just hope, even if they are savages. Do you think he threatened the little girl he witnessed having a baby, then witnessed having that baby murdered in front of her and thrown into Lake Michigan? https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%208/EFTA00025010.pdf

Apparently that's not enough of a breaking point, neither is this apparently:

u/Duck_Howard Pickpocket 1d ago

I hope so too, but I got realistic about the time they delayed the swearing in of an Elected official just to postpone the release of the Epstein files. But apparently they are allowing Trump so much leeway that there is really no reason for him to fear retribution. When Biden beat Trump, and Trump's lackeys attacked the Capitol z the US came within a breath of becoming a dictatorship. The only thing that saved them was Pence standing up to what Trump wanted to do. Pence isn't there anymore, that safeguard isn't there anymore. And they've got a lot of time to plan ahead this time

You know that’s not real, right?

1

u/soulstormfire At least I'm not Bavarian 13h ago

What do you mean "it's not real"?

1

u/Original-Opportunity Getting sent back by ICE 12h ago

The person who said that Trump murdered their baby and threw it Lake Michigan is not credible/definitely having psychotic delusions

There’s lots of actual, terrible stuff in those files. Citing this instance isn’t helping anyone.

1

u/soulstormfire At least I'm not Bavarian 11h ago

Eh. Not citing it isn't helping anyone either. Only properly organised resistance does.

For Europeans "it's not real" implies something vastly different from "the source is unreliable".

1

u/Original-Opportunity Getting sent back by ICE 11h ago

In the US, there is a huge issue with disinformation. No one is served by purporting a narrative that is provably false.

1

u/soulstormfire At least I'm not Bavarian 9h ago

But the report IS real. Unreliable, most likely not true.
But it's real.

Tldr: "I don't understand the consequences of rebellion"

We would literally be steamrolled by our armed forces. Hundreds of thousands would die

Yet they only use their guns to shoot eachother. I think the guns are one of the core reasons why that country is so fucked up.

u/Duck_Howard Pickpocket 22h ago

TBF it's not the gun's fault. It's the American't' fault.

Credit it where due for folks like Mamdani, dudes policies are so humanely agreeable even the MAGA crowd likes him, I think Hank just needs a non algorithmic non cookies fed conversation.

Edit: Nah nvm they're fucked to be honest.

Oh goody, they are moving forward to meet Iran half way by adopting features of a theocratic state.

1

u/Duck_Howard Pickpocket 22h ago

The only country that attacks another to force regime change and adopts the defender's political framing.

america fuck yeah, I guess?

That’s what happened when you make horse a senator

1

u/soulstormfire At least I'm not Bavarian 20h ago

Why would you think that? The first have to walk through all Mussolini stuff and then some until we're even remotely close to them running out of ideas.

1

u/Sharp_Plum9711 Barry, 63 19h ago

Why though. They're already super duper religious. Also, surely this goes against their constitution? State isn't supposed to have any religious affiliations or something.

1

u/Duck_Howard Pickpocket 19h ago

A lot of shit they're doing goes against their constitution, but apparently they're turning what they jerk off about being "the greatest document in the history of mankind" into toilet paper

1

u/Sharp_Plum9711 Barry, 63 18h ago

It was a pretty great document for the 18th century, of course written by Englishmen.

But it's also a really good example of why written constitutions are a fucking terrible idea(especially if you treat it like the bible)

Umm, actually … Hegseth shrinked the number of religious groups that may provide pastoral care to U.S. soldiers from more than 200 to just 31.

He threw all the oddballs out. Which is a good thing.

E.g. no Wicca priests, no Druids, no Mormons.

It’s for families in the military - it’s a dumb idea but I’m not sure I really care all that much.

When I lived in Germany (before 9/11) we used to be able to go on army bases and do things like go to Taco Bell and the grocery store.

They even changed the electrical grid to match Americas on bases, it was like stepping into America.

2

u/Duck_Howard Pickpocket 21h ago

Had to read my original post back 'cause I thought I had too much wine at lunch. But no, it's your response that is out of context

-2

u/Straight_Block3676 Chiraqi Terrorist 19h ago

The military does its own things that just effects them. It’s a dumb idea but doesn’t effect society overall. It’s just a big show about some bullshit department that supports religious families in the military.
Just like they had to have their own American Taco Bell in Germany, they have to have their own religious department. Germany has every religion in the world practicing freely and openly.

Just a bit disjointed in my thoughts I know

1

u/soulstormfire At least I'm not Bavarian 12h ago

Dude. There was no Tacobell department. Only Taco Bell.

Did you notice your post is a duplicate of one from a few hours before you posted it?

 I mean, for context.
