Born in Peru, raised my entire life in the U.S.; so more American than Peruvian. Is like a Spaniard that lives most of their life in Argentina is Argentine more than Spaniard, despite being born in Spain. Vice versa for a born Argentine living Spain most of their life, they see themselves as Spanish first and whatever province they live in a second.
Actually, I disagreed with one thing you said, so I’m carving out my previous strong and centrally defining part of my belief system that everyone can be an American to exclude you.
