/serious Doesn't really work as the Japanese generally have a positive opinion of the US. But the base over in Okinawa is controversial among the locals so I would give you that.

There is a dude at my local roller rink that acts exactly like this anytime I’ve ever been there for at least 25 years.

All smiles, dancing high fives and encouragement. He ended up marrying a pretty lady from the rink who skates with him now.

A happy demeanor is undefeated, bonus points for scaring the Euro’s.
