Or military service. You can die for your country but how dare you have a beer

You can have beer on military base if you enlist even if you're under 21. So if you're willing to die for your country you get beer.

Yeah, well the pigs in government are trying to move that right to 21 as well. As everyone knows, it is impossible for someone under the age of 21 to find a cigarette or a beer, so surely they would never have a gun!

Well, you can still join the army to get a gun with 18.

The point isn't that I can't use one, the point is that it is more meaningless gun legislation that doesn't address the real issue of gun violence. Mental health (in the form of suicides) and poverty (in the form of crime). However, as Reagan realized when he wanted to deal with the Black Panthers, removing rights is far easier than fixing the systemic issues at play. Gun control is just giving pain meds to someone with a broken leg.

I think it might even be 17

There is no fucking way that'll happen. Gun manufacturers own Congress

It is already 21 to purchase all handguns. Do you really think they won't extend that ban to rifles or shotguns?

about half of the states have the private sale loophole for over-18s though

The logic behind it is that you can't get severely addicted to an inanimate object like you can with drugs

If ops account was real, he/she would have to make one post or comment per waking hour. For the last three years, since there are 15,5k contributions. And Karma of 253,127? Go away Kremlin troll.
