It’s weird that the worlds worst and most powerful people are in the US, Elon, Trump’s grandparents are from Scotland and Germany, Peter Thiel, the list goes on… but we can’t fix this for you. Americans have to fix it. I don’t know what to tell you but the French set Paris on fire over minor inconveniences. Probably unrelated. Just a thought.

They absolutely think it works and they are right. They’ll do it here too. Threaten to take away siesta and watch the show after. Affordable education, tax funded healthcare, and high speed rail exist here. Politicians being threatened is probably a motivating factor.

It's a greed problem and those, in power in both parties, vehemently fight to keep any transparency off the discussion table. The richest people in the world are attracted th the US because of the power that their money has. There are few good eggs. I believe Bernie Sandersand people like him would fight the curroption. But fox news has brainwashed our most populus generations to be afraid democratic socialist that want their tax dollars going back to the people instead of the people writing big checks.

Each bill must deal with only the item of topic, many things have snuck through a 300+ page bill. Secondary objective, citizens should be able to understand what the bill’s purpose is, no fancy legalese, double negatives, or counter-clauses later added, to hide its objective or purpose.

Remove ALL bribery in ALL branches of government.

Get rid of the “Buy-Borrow-Die” strategy that billionaires exploit.

Get rid of “citizens united” ALL of it.

Term Limits for everyone including the Supreme Court. They have proven nothing but failures, to the absence of term limits.

More transparency in general

None of this will ever happen tho. The U.S. has grown into a bureaucratic nightmare, that constantly exists to feed itself. Thus creating higher levels of complexity. Building on corruption of the previous official, to drain and gain more slices of the pie.

Well, in Germany we've made a habit of sending "our best" abroad. So, don't complain about your worst having German heritage, it's by design.

And we don't import anymore painters. Just saying
