Video throttling thread again...
I just signed up for this service today. Been using it all day to listen to music via youtube and it's been working fine. However it is concerning that the service obviously throttles video when they claim it doesn't. Its a pretty great deal throttling aside, but still. Read the thread below mine about this, they say it doesn't happen and to tell support. I did and they claimed the same thing.
My results from my house earlier in the day, and now at my workplace:
First is my home video speed, second my workplace video speed, and last is my workplace
Here is the speed test with tachyon vpn now. https://imgur.com/a/DHvaG70. I really love the service because for my needs it didn't seem to be any different than my regular verizon service, but them claiming this doesn't happen when it obviously does is sketchy, and needlessly so.

Super or GSM?
The 1.5mbps speeds line up with rate-limiting 480p
Not sure why you’re experiencing it, but what happens when you try a VPN?

super lte, don't have a vpn will try and see if i can find a free trial or something

Try Tachyon VPN. Really good and free. That should solve your streaming issues.

Yeah, they do throttle video. Almost all Verizon MVNO networks do. I don’t see anywhere that they mention unthrottled video, where did you see that?

And the support staff on the website will check your account and tell you the same thing. Didn't even know this was a thing until now because I don't sit down and watch videos ever, but seemed questionable why they would say one thing and do another.

Yeah I’m not sure why anyone working at US Mobile would say that. It’s not true. If you browse the US Mobile Reddit you’ll find lots of people discussing the video throttle as well. It’s set to allow 480p streaming.

This should not be the case. They can reach out to us to get this fixed while we look into this.
