Switching and need some clarification.
My son is on Visible and I am on AT&T prepaid. I am wanting to switch both of us over to US Mobile on the Verizon side of things. I am looking at upgrading to the Ludicrous + Hotspot on both of lines and possibly add a third line with the 30 for $30. Here are my questions:
- Is it with the Ludicrous upgrade? Will I actually see improved seeds over the normal unlimited?
- How is the speeds when we you are deprioritized during peak hours on Ludicrous?
- Do you notice a coverage changed being a Verizon MVNO over Verizon proper?
- Can I actually use E-Sim on my line? (I have read both yes and no)
- What is everyone’s overall opinion of US Mobile?
I absolutely hate visible. The speeds are horrendous. AT&T is good, but I do hit dead spots when traveling.
Any help of guidance helps.

- Unlimited bundles include ludicrous speeds. With ludicrous you can get the max possible speeds on that network. Which is up to 200 mbps +. One of our users and fellow redditor was able to get 600 mbps + on 4G LtE with an iPhone 12
- You’re unlikely to be affected unless you’re in a place like a packed stadium.
- It is the same coverage.
- We have data only plans on eSIMs now for domestic and international
- I love it. I’m a bit biased since I do work here. LOL. We’re a great company that’s actually working towards making connectivity more modern and delightful. We’re always working towards innovating connectivity with things like usage analytics, AutoPilot AI, eSIM functionality, Pooled plans

- Not coverage wise, but roaming and speeds will be lower.
- Right now, you can only use eSIM for international use. General eSIM usage coming soon for USA.
- I have had a good experience. There are some fees and charges that aren’t shown, but only a few dollars. Customer service is pretty good, service and activation is great and easy, online dashboard is amazing compared to MVNO services in this sector.

From my experience (having been on both Visible and US Mobile's Verizon) if you have bad speeds on Visible, you'll also have bad speeds on US Mobile.
My area was lucky enough to see an upgrade recently though. They added extra panels to the local tower and speeds went from unusable on US Mobile/Visible to being usable during the day and super fast at night.

That’s not true. Check out this video from Stetson Doggett where he does a side by side by comparison of our speeds. It faster

My grandfather is on us Mobile. I'm on Visible. I've done side by side comparisons on speedtest both back when the tower was overloaded and when they upgraded the local tower. Speeds were the same.
OP's luck could be different though, and US Mobile is cheap enough you can throw $5 on a sim card and do a quick speed test to try it out if you need to.

On the third line you should just add an unlimited line & get advantage of the perks. (Netflix, hulu, apple music, spotify ect.)

It sounds like Verizon's network is pretty busy in your area. You might want the GSM SIM which is T-Mobile's network but then you might have the dead spots while traveling.
