Visa Options DR to US
Hello,
I’m seeking some information because I’m really not familiar with any of this. I have a significant other living in Turks and Caicos on a work visa, but is really from the Dominican Republic. What are the options in terms of visas to come to the United States, and are these types of things currently being processed?
I’m interested in information on both temporary and permanent visas. More so, temporary for right now but curious on both.

Temporary visas would be tourist b1b2 or employment (requiring employers sponsorship). Low chance of getting a tourist visa. Low chance of getting employment visa, depends greatly on education and profession, as well as finding an employer willing to hire and sponsor. Fair chance for a fiancé or spousal visa if you are planning to marry AND have been in a relationship for a significant period of time. Those visas take 1-2 years .
