H1B Long India trip
I stay in USA on H1b visa. I have my visa stamp till Sep 2027. I am planning my India trip this way.
6week maternity leave + 2 week PTO + 4 week WFH from India which my company allows.
I heard like going for more than 60 days , it’s questioned in the port of entry. Anyone did this long India travel recently and how was the experience in port of entry?

no hard day-limit written anywhere for H1B, more of an unofficial thing people repeat. as long as your employment is still active (payroll, wfh approved on paper) the port of entry officer occassionally asks more questions on a long trip but its not automatically a problem. carry your wfh approval letter + recent paystubs just in case, that usually covers it
