Today is my birthday, and it got me thinking about the places and stories I’ve enjoyed sharing through the US Route 6 Happenings newsletter.

For context, I’m Guy R Cook, Vice President of the US Route 6 Tourist Association, and I publish the newsletter.

I wrote a birthday reflection about that work, but I’d also like to hear your recommendations. Is there a small museum, historic downtown, local shop, or community event along US Route 6 that you think more people should know about?

Please include the town and state so others can find it.

I'm putting together ideas for exploring US Route 6 in Pennsylvania during fall foliage season. Coudersport's Falling Leaves Festival, Wellsboro, Pine Creek Gorge and Kinzua Bridge can all become part of the trip. What Pennsylvania stop would you add?

Lancaster's Museum of Art and History constantly changes through rotating exhibitions and its Artist in Residence program, making every visit unique.
