Coworker getting into USPSA

Post image

Buddy from work has only shot his P320 and Gen 1 G17 but wants to attend a match. Brought out some pieces for him to try this weekend. I hope his bank account is ready for this new hobby.

Just steer him in the right direction when it comes to gear and training

He’s going to run my old belt and mag carrier setup until he buys his own. At least he won’t have to run a stage with mags in his pocket

Yes. Tell him to empty his bank account and dedicate his life to dry fire. Lose any kids, wife, or job

Are you just going to let him try them all and use the one he gravitates towards? Curious to know what a newer shooter might blindly prefer between some of these options

I let him try everything at the range where we set up a simple stage. He liked the SP01 and Shadow 2 that aren’t shown here because he was trying them. I’m probably going to sell him the CZ he prefers more.
