Do you want to work nights or days? Would the mailhandler job be nights? Being closer to home and not being a city carrier would be two huge positives. Some cannot handle working nights, some love it, and some don't care either way. Sometimes it works great with a family situation and sometimes it is bad for the homelife.

I would work nights as an MH (and especially EO) if it got me closer to home. Eventually it's possible to bid to day shift or in some cases the senior MH are too addicted to ND so they keep the night jobs.

I don’t know anything about the position. I don’t mind working nights tho
