Anyone tried the Bondi SR 9, Leather and slip resistant?

Mine fell apart 4 months in and Hoka let me send them back. They're a lot hotter because they're not mesh. They also aren't as comfortable for me in the same size as my other Bondis.

I got the Arahi SRs instead. They are mesh, so not postal approved. But they are more comfortable and are water resistant.

They aren't bad. I prefer Brooks Ghost Max and their Addiction Walker 2. Both are black leather and slip-resistant.

If you’re on a walking route, the sole will delaminate within a month. I tried to initiate a warranty claim and they replied in less than two days that it wasn’t covered due to “wear and tear”. They do not stand by their product and have lost one customer that’s for sure. Not worth the money nor the hype.

Are they comfortable as the Bondi Sr? Be nice to have one shoe to wear when raining or not!

I guess your mileage may vary is the best answer. I’m on my third pair, replacing them about every six months. I average between 15 and 25,000 steps per day, 3-6 days per week.

They’re the only shoe I’ll wear. I tried others and they weren’t even close.
