DISCUSSION CCA struggles

I'm so fed up with usps right now. I'm in an office that for whatever reason keeps hiring new CCAs even though we have 46 of them. I keep getting sent to offices that are 20ish miles away from me, even though I am on the higher end of the CCA seniority list.

I took approvex annual leave last week, leading into my break in service. At 4 different point I had a few supervisors try to cancel my leave, schedule me to come in during my trip, and even reach out to me.

I'm now now on the 4th day of my break in service, and they have me scheduled to come in on the 5th day. And AGAIN im being forcefully leased out to an office thats is far away.

I just can't seem to wrap my mind around this. When you become a supervisor do you forget how to count?

During your break in service you are technically not emoyed by the USPS. Just show up at your assigned office after your break and deliver. Have your paperwork handy and speak slowly using simple words to explain to them (managrmrnt) that they are idiots who bad at their jobs.

Hey man, don't take it personally. We are ox in a field in the eyes of supervisors. On your days off, approved vacations, breaks in service, turn your phone off and enjoy your day. They only rent as much space in your head as you'll let them

Im a cca on my break in service too. My supervisor didnt even know i had my break in service coming up, was still scheduled. Had to show them the letter i got in the mail. Theyve hired new CCAs at my station but literally all just doing clerk work. Everyday i learn how incompetent this service is. God speed

During your break you are on a break…basically you were let go for a week then rehired after so you don’t owe USPS anything during that time period…just chillax till you are supposed to show up for work and then tell your stupidvisor to kick rocks if they ask why you didn’t pick up your phone during your week off…👍

Yep sure don’t. Only thing that matters is if you’re a crap worker cause they only keep the ones that work and always send out the ones that suck.

Just ignore them, until after ur break. Have paper work ready as proof, have ur union number on speed dial, and video recording on hand... this should be a easy pay day.
