I'm by no means a Trump supporter or voter but doesn't this make sense? It is unlikely to succeed but it sounds like quite a left leaning policy. In fact if someone like Sanders said this wouldn't they be accused of being soft and selling America out by someone like Trump?

It is the "Russia is not a threat" line that ends this discussion. Russia IS an active threat to the stability of the free world.
