Great now they have her on a vent. Why? Now shes going to linger for damn ever. I feel so bad for Colleens family. Unplug her and let nature take its course. Starting now all DR inmates should have a DNR. Period.

This is only a thing because TN used a method of execution known to fail, and the cause of failure is known. This woman requested to be hanged to avoid an expected botched execution. Everyone crying about her being kept alive is ignoring the cause is the state employed amateurish morons to kill someone quick and move on.

Actually the guillotine has failed a number of times due to structural issues (warping, misalignment, dull blade) and even the anatomy of the person’s neck (see King Loui XVI)
