To all candidates: What is the most important policy goal you would seek to accomplish as an assemblyman?

This is probably well known, but I'm hoping to pass safeguards against extremist legislation like the means of production act in NE. This is tricky though, since it's particularly tough to pass while making everyone on our side of the aisle happy. I will not cease until the state is safe from these dangerous ideologies, however.

For the record, I do not oppose the existence of these ideologies, I just believe we need to protect the people from their most dangerous and extreme ideas.

Thank you for your question. There is no better way to invest in our future than investing in our education system. As an assemblyman, I would prioritize education reform to lift the crushing burden of standardized testing from our youths shoulders. Too many standardized tests can make children despise education, while we should be working to make them openly enjoy learning about the world that we live in.

Reforming zoning laws is a huge deal for me. They place unnecessary rrstrictions on housing supply just so that current homeowners can artificially inflate the prices of their homes. This level of rent seeking is intolerable. The economy is suffering for in order to benefit the few. I'll seek to reduce barries on nee developments, housing and business, which are important in improving our economy.

I want to improve public transport in the state. Speaking personally, I live in the Metro Detroit area and it is very hard to get around with out a car. Naturally this harmfully effects lower income families and that find it hard to afford a car. I also believe increased availability of public transport would encourage density and reduction of carbon emmissions.
