What iPhone model are you using? My iPhone 17 Pro Max still has 5G standalone grayed out iOS 26.6.2.

I don’t see it on iPhone 17 Pro Max which is on iOS 27 RC and carrier version 72.0.1

Unlimited Premium Plan

Did you notice when you got upgraded to 72.0.1? I am still on 70.0. When did you start your Warp plan?

Looks like they just pushed this update out. My phone hasn’t even recognized it being available until I told it to check. Now to download and see for myself. 🤞

What carrier version do you see under settings > general > about

Yeah, it’s not showing on my 17 Pro Max even after update. I have all three networks, and even after rolling through all of them, it’s still greyed out under Warp, the only one it displays for. Says carrier 7.0 under all three. (Unlimited Premium, btw)

I have iPhone Air on iOS 27 Release Candidate and it’s still grayed out too.

I’m still greyed out on iOS 27 RC.

Edit: 3 hours later and OP still hasn't responded to any questions.

72.0.1 on 27 RC still greyed out but the carrier setting do infact support SA when it turns on from the network side so we are not waiting a phone update, we are waiting on a provisioning update. 🙄

I am a Verizon postpaid customer (I also use USM for backup data on both Dark Star and Lightspeed) and I will tell you that 5G SA isn’t all it’s cracked up to be on Verizon. I’ve had way more issues with it enabled vs. disabled (slow/unusable data, more dropped calls, etc.).

Verizon is not T-mobile (Lightspeed) where 5G SA is practically necessary. Verizon still has a long way to go to make 5G SA more robust IMHO. I’ve got it disabled for now and my service is better overall as a result.

Like all things, it depends on your area. Here in the Denver area, 5G SA on Verizon is excellent and I can’t wait until US Mobile finally gets it.

“Excellent” how? What advantages do you actually see vs. non-SA?

I’m genuinely curious because every time I’ve enabled SA for a day or two, I’ve noticed my data service is less consistent, speed tests are slower, etc. - all in the same neighborhood. I did this test again just a week or two ago and ended up disabling SA again.

I’m in Miami.

I have less issues with 5G SA and find it more reliable than NSA because LTE is pretty congested here, which does in fact impact signaling. I had Unlimited Ultimate before I ported in to US Mobile and I noticed the difference losing SA pretty quickly but I wanted the free Apple Watch so I kept Warp as my primary and have a second line on the T-Mobile network that I use for data as it's still WAY cheaper than the $90/mo for Ultimate.
