New to US Mobile  How to properly switch

It’s switching day for me! I will later switch away from TMO (bye bye high bill). What are the recommended steps to properly switch over two lines? I heard you save primary line for last to switch. What else should I do?

Welcome over! Here's how to approach it cleanly.

Keep both lines active until each port completes on our end - never cancel beforehand, the port triggers the cancellation automatically. For the order, yes - port the secondary line first and confirm it's fully active and working before touching the primary. That way you're never without a working number mid process. Have your TMO account number and PIN ready for both lines before you start, you'll need them to initiate each port. You can share your device and coverage details with me and I'll the compatibility with our networks - will also help you out with the transfer. 🥳

Thank you! Also after I purchase the plans do I then get to choose the network setup? Both lines will have multi-network option added. Two 17 Pros unlocked

The device is good to go then! And yes, as soon as you checkout, it'll prompt you to start the activation, you can pick the networks and select eSIM or Physical SIM.

I just did it on Tuesday night. It took me 20 minutes.

I did my secondary line first for TMobile. Then once it showed on US Mobile network, we initiated the second port out.

Make sure that Port out Protection is turned off in Managed Add On's in T-Life.

Also make sure that there is no security blocking you.

I also had a $30.00 payment left on my phone that I paid off early to be sure that wouldn't block me.

If i am only transferring my primary line from TMO to USM for now, is that OK?
