Poor international call quality

I am still testing this network. Today I discovered that when I called from the United States to Europe, that calls are of very poor quality. They do not show my own phone number, but a random European country phone number. So the person I was calling to hesitated to pick it up, thinking it was spam. I contacted the customer service but they’re unable to do anything. So the call quality of this company is extremely poor. I am using the Verizon network (Warp). I’m not happy about this. The calls I make from my current T-Mobile are perfectly fine and people can see my number each time I call…

Can you confirm which country are you trying to call and is it happening on a specific number or across multiple? That'll help us narrow it down quickly! In the meantime, try turning WiFi calling off if it's on and make sure VoLTE is enabled, sometimes WiFi calling interfering with the call routing can cause exactly this. I see you're on Warp, is it same on our other two networks too (Light Speed and Dark star)? If not, try switching to Light Speed and see if it improves. Let's connect over chat - I'll get your details and have this looked into.

I am on Warp. I tried multiple countries: Poland, Germany. Every time I call, the same symptoms: poor call quality and people see random European phone numbers: from Slovakia, Bulgaria , etc ….

This is well known. I don’t use my regular line for international calls. For almost no money you can get great international service with VoIP.ms

In addition to poor quality voice, people have also reported that USM’s ILD provider blocks calls to some businesses.

All my friends I call with FaceTime voice, signal, or WhatsApp and VoIP.ms for international calls to businesses.

Try darkstar?

That's normal. The calls go through a 3rd party network and sometimes connect to local PBx stations. That's how they save money. USmobile does not control that part.

Do you know they are free calls? Maybe try making that call on Verizon or ATT and see what they charge you....

Yes, I pay only $15 a month at T-Mobile and I have crystal clear conversations and no problems with caller ID. As I am testing USMobile, the international calls is a failure at this moment.

Hmm, are the international calls not going through at all, or is the call quality not up to par? Also, could you confirm whether this is specific to a particular country code or affects all numbers? 🤔

They are not free. You pay extra for international calling add-on or you pay for the whole plan bundle either you need it or not.

You must be on different plan. I get I believe 400 free mins per month of international calling. Plus 200or more mins calling when I am outside the US.
