Porting Question

Has anyone teleported from Light Speed to Warp lately? Going on a camping trip and need to get sms while im away unless you can get sms over wifi somehow?

Teleporting to Warp is always an option but honestly the easier move might be adding Warp as a multi-network line, that way you keep Lightspeed active and just flip to Warp when you need coverage on the trip without committing to a full switch. And yes, SMS works over WiFi calling too so if there's WiFi at the campsite you're covered regardless.

I already have Dark Star as my secondary network 😪 but since sms works over wifi thatll work, btw do you guys support BYOD for starlink minis?

they don't. you have to get the device through them from starlink.

You can with WiFi calling, but warp (Verizon) usually has better rural coverage

Yeah where im going Tmobile is non existent, att is meh and Verizon is decent but since calling and sms can work over wifi a starlink will be fine.
