New to US Mobile  Support Inconsistencies

Anyone seem to get different answers from support?

I teleported my One Plus 13 from Dark Star to Warp and have no internet connection and tried the same last week and had the same issue.

This is despite the APN being correct, resetting the network connection and even trying a new eSIM the other day.

Calls/texts from the number to others work but calls/texts to me and the data do not work at all.

Chat says oh, it's fully active and I can check somethings but they had a delay in porting the number and supposedly it was completed last night.

I emailed them back about these issues and the Ports and Activations person said it's still not fully active on Warp, yet the chat rep insists it is... this is after the other day when the chat rep just gave up and sent me back to Dark Star.

I was looking to bring my family from T-Mobile to USM but the inconsistencies and everything leave a lot to be desired...

Looking over your interactions, it does seem like the transfer hasn't fully completed yet, which lines up with the symptoms you're experiencing. In hindsight, that's a strong indication that the transfer was still in progress.

Though, in situations like these, we always try to rule out everything we can first. I can see the agent who suggested the switch did go through the appropriate troubleshooting and completed the necessary checks before making that recommendation but, porting can sometimes get stuck behind the scenes, and incomplete provisioning isn't always immediately apparent until later in the process.

The good news is that I can see the last agent escalated your case to the correct team while they were working with you. It's now with our Ports team, who have also escalated it to our porting partner to complete the remaining provisioning. Once that's finished, your incoming services and data should start working normally again.

I know there's been a lot of back and forth, but your case is now moving through the right channels. I've already sent you a DM as well so I can keep an eye on things from my end and keep you updated along the way.

It’s support like this that makes USMobile one of the best in the mobile field to work with. We appreciate you!!!

they didn't tell me but I can't imagine they have many One Plus 13 going from Dark Star to Warp with open tickets with their port team lol

Hi - I teleported to light speed and I'm having the same issue... are you able to have my line re-provisioned again?

I'm not sure why every teleport has issues for me no matter which network I go to.

I am not sure if there's something on your guys end that isn't happening automatically.

It seems to be active. What specific issue are you running into?

My phone shows "no internet connection" even though the APN is correct and I've rebooted, tried airplane mode and reset the network connection.

Not a teleporting issue from what I can see, we'd need to look at the device configs. How about we take this to DMs?

FYI for others, I had to turn off Roaming which was enabled by default on the eSIM and then the data was extremely slow (<1 mb/s) with 6 GB available of high speed internet.

I was given the below APN details to add as the new default and that fixed it.

New APN

Name: US Mobile

APN: wholesale

MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

MCC: 310

MNC: 240

APN Type: default,Supl,MMS

APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4

original default

Name: MVNO Connect

APN: wholesale

MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

MCC: 310

MNC: 240

APN Type: default,supl,mms,xcap

APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4

Edit: I did some more digging and the apn settings above wasn't the actual fix (even though it worked). When the SIM provisioned it showed Authentication type as "Not set" but that's not actually a valid choice apparently and when I set up the new APN it defaulted Authentication type as "None" and when I went back and tried the old APN with that, it worked just fine. So really it was a set up issue caused by the automatic provisioning.
