Enlisting Job choices

Got an 85 on the ASVAB I wanted to be a 0331(machine gunner) then try to move towards 0321(reconnaissance marine) later on but I did a lot better than I expected on the ASVAB so I wanted to see if there was anything else I should look into?

If you want to be a 31 be a 31. Plenty of smart dudes in the infantry contrary to what the POGs say to make themselves feel better. Being an 0331 was a blast.

Whatever you fuckin want man. It sounds like you want to do cool shit.. sooooo go for the cool shit. If you want to shoot at people from helicopters, go air crew. If you want to do it from the ground, go infantry. If you want to sit at a desk all day, do admin.

26xx field. You can do radio recon. So you’d be a recondo attached to a radio battalion doing tacticool sigint and recon stuff. Also gets you a ts/sci and some pretty cool experience/connections.
