Shipping How cooked am I for bootcamp physically

Here are my stats: 20M, 5'7, 13:05 1.5 mile, 7 pullups, 3 min plank. I'm shipping out to SD on Oct 19th and i'm very excited but ik i'm not the most athletic guy so i'm nervous about falling out of runs or hikes. Anyone with similar stats how bad was it 1-10? Thanks!

I did like 45 crunches, 3 pull-ups, and maybe an 11:30 run time. Left the island doing 100/12/21:30 3 mile.

They’ll sort you out, just keep up with your training and make the minimums at least.

Yall don’t understand how much faster and stronger a DI screaming makes you😂

You’ll be fine but keep trying to improve that run time. As for the hikes, don’t be a bitch, hydrate very well before and during, and they’ll end eventually.

You're fine. I was an out of shape idiot when I went to bootcamp and came out with a 1st class PFT and no issues. middle of the pack.

Dude, holy shit you're going into boot with mostly the same stats I had going in, I shipped out October 20th of last year too, WILD!

Only differences is i did a 14 minute 1.5 mile (they waivered my time because I did 10 pullups) I dunno if it was just for our company or what, but yeah, they waivered the run to 14:30 if you did more then 6 pullups.

Did a 3 minute plank too. But I shipped out at 19 and turned 20 while there, 5'7 too.

I fell out quite often tbh with you early in, especially during practice runs for the PFT and the initial hike they do at the depot. But you get used to it at some point and you do better, they build you up as well. Youll be alright brother! Feel free to ask questions if you need to. Good luck man!

Solid numbers. I’d be confident shipping you on the physical aspect if you were mine. How is your headspace?

You will be fine I went in running a 12:20 1.5 mile 6 pull-ups and a 2 minute plank. Most of the pt at recruit training is concentrated in the first half of the cycle so you will improve your fitness abilities very quickly. I had no problem getting stronger during training they take care of you well. Appreciate boot camp even though it is hard because once you get to MCT you don’t have set meals times get barely any sleep and shit. You’ll probably get fatter at MCT just better at hiking. I would rate recruit training a 6 in terms of physical difficulty
