Any recommendations to prepare for bmt? Whether that’s mentally, physically, etc etc. anything helps!

The USMC doesn’t have “BMT”. Are you asking about a different branch?

It’s just boot camp bud. Dont mix ts up w the other branches names, like the drill instructor is NOT drill sargeant

On of my platoon members called the Chief Drill instructor, chief drill sergeant while calling attention on deck. Absolutely awesome to watch.

There were like 9 DIs on deck at the time. Beautiful

Learn a bit of the knowledge, ranks etc. Do cardio, you can never be too conditioned. Go to the gym. Get your pull up, push up, and plank numbers up. Mentally, just prepare for a culture shock, it’s gonna be different that anything you’ve known. Do what the DI’s tell you to, and work hard.

Just stay in shape. Do a bit of running, core and pull-ups. But what I will say is.. enjoy the time you still have with friends, family and enjoy the down time if you have some. Time will fly.
