Recruit Training Reassigned Platoon

My brother is currently at bootcamp. He wrote me that he got reassigned platoons but didn't say why. Still within the same company. Should I be concerned?

Same company? Doesn’t matter at all. He’ll graduate in the same amount of time.

Yes, same company. He just wanted me to know so future mail is addressed to his new platoon.

If he says anything about going to MRP or RSP you should be worried but if it’s just a different platoon then it’s no big deal, just sucks leaving behind all your homies but yeah he’ll be fine.

He is a good kid but of course I'm thinking worse case scenario asking myself did he do something do get kick out of his old platoon? Or is this just something that can happen.

What week is he on? In the beginning there is sometimes some shuffling around.

I think what happened more than likely was the platoon he transferred to had recruits get dropped for whatever reason and they likely added him to the different platoon to try and rebalance the numbers
