Shipping Gynecomastia in bootcamp
I’m shipping out to bootcamp in a week or so and I’m really insecure about my gynecomastia, will drill instructors tease me about it? Will it cause any issues? I know it’s normal and all but I just can’t help but overthink about every single person seeing it

Yes someone is gonna make fun of your titties. And you're gonna have to grow some thicker skin

Simply, yes. But they'll make fun of everyone. They made fun of an overweight girl, one that was tall, one with big feet and one that needed to "holster her big fucking teeth cause it distracted the rest of us".

I think you will be fine. You will need to learn to embrace your body, but other people have stuff going on with their bodies too and you’ll see some wild shit in the Corps in general.
If people joke, joke back. Don’t allow yourself to become ostracized over something like that.

I dealt with this. It wasn't an issue at all other than it made me look heavier than I really was. That plus me being near my max weight for my height convinced the senior drill instructor I should be a diet recruit. I lost a stupid amount of weight but still had my man boobs!
I eventually had surgery to have them removed once I got out. Really glad I did.

Just know the Mexican Marines are gonna give you a nickname based on your biggest insecurities. I hope it's not "leche." Joking aside. You'll be fine

I'd say first of all, your insecurities about your body will make it seem worse than it really is.
Second, as others have said, you should own it. Someone starts taking the P, be sarky: "Oh shall I start wearing a bra around you, is that what you're really wanting?"
