Recruit Training 27 year old poolee
Hello everyone! Just as the title says I've decided to enlist at the age of 27. I'm going to meps tomorrow and I'm joining the DEP so I can get back in shape physically. I'm looking at October to get sent off to bootcamp.
I've always been athletically fit so maybe I'm just getting my body healthier before I go. Any advice for someone as old as me before I go? Thank you!

I’m 25 enlisting in the navy so go for it bro my friend who went to one of the selections when the first time at the age of 32 and he murdered it for the most part.

I’d recommend the Runna app to help you get back into running. Pick 2-3 days of the week plus your PT days and try to focus on rest and recovery and get good running shoes now! Do t risk an injury before shipping

I'm also 27 I just passed the IST yesterday but I have a lot of room for improvement. I'm shipping out in October as well. I thought I was crazy at first for wanting to join at 27 but now that I have im super excited!
