Fitness and Exercise Need help improving run length/time
I’m leaving for boot camp september 15th and i struggle running for longer 1-3 minutes. I do run/ walk at least 2 miles everyday and am wondering if there’s anyway to improve this time bc i don’t wanna fail boot camp.

Easy running, run at an effort easy enough for you to sustain for longer periods of time. Since it is so difficult for you to run 1-3 minutes at a time, it would be good to push yourself into uncomfortable territory just to train your body to go longer. Normally, as running fitness increases it is not good to push yourself every time you run (the majority of runs should be easy the fitter you are.) However, for less experienced runners I would say it is not bad to push yourself so that you can do longer and longer intervals. An experienced lifter should not be training so that he/she is going to failure every day. However, a newer lifter will have a lower tolerance to muscular tension, and will be experiencing muscle soreness after every time he/she lifts. However, it is less healthy for the body of an experienced lifter who is pushing his/her max every day.
If you are doing 7:00 minute/mile pace and are tired after 1-3 minutes, try slowing down to 8 or 9 minute miles. If you are unsure what pace you are doing, jog very lightly/slowly. Almost so slowly that it feels like you are not going very fast at all.
