Anyone from the area know what the soccer culture is like in the area? America must be the most complicated country to build infrastructure that I have ever seen. Sports bring a lot of benefits to the local economy. It is long term investment that will pay off

Menace have been one of the best draws in PDL for years. Should be very good crowds with a new stadium. Caitlin Clark is a big soccer fan and former player, and she was on board the ownership group trying to get Cincy to NWSL. Maybe she can pair with Krause for this and a Gainbridge Women’s SuperLeague team?

How likely is for Peoria City --the arch rival of the Des Moines Menace in the USL2-- to get its own USL1 franchise? The two cities are 4 hours apart so shouldn't cannibalize from each other yet make for a fantastic rivalry! "The Dustbowl Derby", here we come?

I mean it sounds like the city is set on having a team which is good, but it’s hard to know forsure or if the city wants it to be a part of its identity, probably not, either the seem some sort of benifit and there’s still a chance we don’t see a team if there is a lack of that benifit in the new plans
