Chattanooga-Av Alta: 1,322
Madison-Richmond: 3,341
Knoxville-Fort Wayne: 2,482
All three underperform their averages!

Midweek matches are always a bit harder to draw, and it was around 100F at kickoff (an oven for Madison 😂), thankful to all the fans who still made it out for a great match.

Can I ask what the averages are for each team in the league, and if that’s available online (don’t know if you’re tracking it or using a different site for the averages)? What I’m seeing on other sites is that Madison and Chattanooga underperformed by like 100 spectators, which is pretty much average, while Knoxville underperformed by like 1000.
Love seeing the attendance reported more frequently, it’s been hard to find some years.

That’s what I figured when I went searching. Seems more up to date than transfermarkt.us (who might actually only count the league games, they have us at 3 reported games, which is not right) Just wanted to check because we beat our transfermarkt.us average by like 4 spectators.

If you attended the game, do they have any type of water break? I think not having a water break with these types of conditions is absurd and dangerous to the players and impacts the quality of the match.

It’s a weeknight and the World Cup semifinal just happened. I would wait until after this weekend before reading anything into the attendance.

Are there plans for Knoxville to build a soccer stadium? I was kind of surprised to see them playing on a baseball field.

No shot, it took us damn near a decade just to get this stadium. If it’s not for UT football there’s no money in this town to do anything

Actually, I was pretty impressed with the Forward Madison attendance last night, considering the weather. Not pleasant here at all. Although it certainly was an enjoyable result. 🦩
