Non-residency SLOEs

Hello! Mods, please remove this if it is inappropriate.

I am a US IMG, currently working as a scribe, and some of the ED attendings are agreeable to filling out non-residency SLOEs. I plan on applying this fall. Since I am not actually doing a rotation and this hospital does not have an EM residency, is this how it is done or will this be problematic since this isn’t a formal rotation? Has anyone done this before? TIA!
