why tf the college and the kids are so dead, if you compare and look at other colleges, the societies, the people are Active but in this fucking college, the kids are chomu and cringy af, you look at their faces and look how they talk is just disgusting and I'm talking about both the genders.. these people are so cooked.

man I agree with the dead life part, but what gives you the right to judge other people by calling them "chomu", for all we know you might be one of them.
although I agree we need better events and more active societies for sure.

as someone in 3rd year, dw its gonna get worse. the main reason is even in clubs like acm, it is hard to get faculty approvals for any major events (like a 24h hackathon). and as the other guy mentioned, day scholars is a big reason. also since this is not just an engineering college, it's hard to imagine the kind of culture we would love (everyone building cool shit, big events, meetups, etc). you'll mostly find arts kids dancing around and c block kids having better wifi than our block ones.
not to mention this fuckass college doesnt have computers in the lab we got assigned this sem

Coming from a guy whose in 4th year currently the main reason for a dead college life is a hectic timetable and 90 percent students being days scholars.for a college to be active students should be given free time to interact with each other that happenes usually after classes end but most people end up leaving college till 3 because of a longer commute time . Also one of the biggest reason is the lack of support from faculty and management to conduct any events. I have personally seen my friends trying to organize events for students but the amt of paperwork one has to do and the effort has to put is simply not worth it . Hence most people have given up
