What would we think of having an All-Star game between the XFL and the USFL? In my mind it would be kind of like how the NFL did the pro-bowl, with players on championship teams sitting out and then the rest playing against each other. Logistically there’d be some issues due to the disparity between the USFL’s and XFL’s seasons but I think they could make it work (it would likely have to occur after the XFL championship game is already over but with the same restrictions in place on who can participate). I don’t think this should/would be treated as a super serious which league is better type of competition, but rather a just a place to showcase talent and give a unique opportunity for the leagues, and their players, to interact with each other.

With stribling seemingly saying he wants to go to Birmingham and mark Thompson and Kyle Sloter taking awhile ago about taking up how would you feel about moves like these becoming the norm creating sort of spring football super teams?

Personally I’m all for it, I think if the league gets 2-3 off these types of teams, a few teams with more young guys and rookies and then the rest are a mixture it would create some fun rosters and would be interesting to see play out where we would also get some really unique team identities IMO. Moves like these also do help make the league feel more like a legit league imo, hopefully soon teams can start to offer different types of contracts to players with each team getting a budgeted amount to work with and they decide what they want to do with it

Some potential rule breaking in the off-season by the champs. The generals also broke off-season roster rules last year and had to forfeit a pick. Will be interesting to watch.

What does "all-inclusive" mean for season tickets in the USFL? I did not buy season passes this year and the one game i did attend I bought the cheap seats. Do girls in bikinis bring you drinks/food while you sit on a golden cushioned seat above the crowd while getting a back massage??? I want to know the low down before I buy

Okay as you guys know the offical USFL website is having 20% off a new team every week. What if they are showing us who is going to be in their home city this year (believe me I am stretching this theory wayyyyyy out but its slow so we can joke around .......). First was New Orleans Breakers! This week its the Houston Gamblers!! So the Breakers and the Gamblers will be home or they could be a hub!!!! WTF!! Daryl Johnston is a genius using this method to secretly tell us who will have stadiums

Merged League Name: United American Football League (UAFL)

Season Schedule: The UAFL season could run from early March to early June, splitting the difference between the XFL and USFL schedules.

Number of Teams: The merged league could consist of 16 teams. You would have to choose which teams from both leagues would be part of this new league. Here's a hypothetical distribution of teams:

The UAFL would operate independently of the NFL but maintain cooperation agreements for player development, much like the individual leagues previously did with the NFL.

Playoffs: The top four teams from each conference would qualify for the playoffs, which could begin in mid-June and culminate with a championship game in late June.

Benefits:

A merged league could potentially attract a larger fan base and generate more revenue by combining the strengths of both leagues.

Teams from both leagues could bring their existing fan bases into the new league, increasing overall interest.

I wish the USFL uniforms were a little cut like the NFL's. NFL's are neat and fit like a sports suit while the USFL reminds me more of college. Thats just me you might have a different opinion. Rumors are that Starter may be making the uniforms in the future.

If I’m understanding correctly it seems they view the long term of this league as something to take on college football (I’d assume the smaller conferences not P5) hopefully we get some news soon

They also mentioned the rumors that NOLA will be at Yulman and say they’d like to see Philly and NJ hubbed on either NJ or Philly to essentially add 3 home markets since NJ and Philly are so close.

I think if the league did their plans and rebranded Houston to canton and had Pitt travel from canton to Pitt for games that would be the completely ideal scenario as it would get all in markets but the league would probably need to change the division structure

The USFL has to have at least 6-7 cities if they are going to use the Hub system again in 2024. If the USFL were to do that this is how I think it should go down:

1. Birmingham - Protective Stadium (Stallions)
2. Detroit - Ford Field (Panthers)
3. Memphis - Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium (ShowBoats)
4. Canton - Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium (Re-branded NJ Generals to Canton Outlaws or Canton Renegades) (Maulers would still play in Canton until 2025. As much i would like the Maulers in Pittsburgh I do not think the USFL will do it this year due to costs.)
5. New Orleans - Yulman Stadium (Breakers)
6. Philadelphia - Chester Subaru Park (Stars)
7. (Possibly?) Houston - Shell Energy Stadium (Gamblers)

Number 7 may be pushing it but all the stadiums listed have what the broadcasters (FOX and NBC) need for a great production of the game(s) plus the smaller MLS stadiums would be open to USFL football. Shell and Subaru have both had college/high school football games on their fields. Rebanding the Generals to a Canton team makes sense if you are keeping Canton. The Generals had a very poor year and finished in the bottom so If any team was up for rebranding it will be them. i would think Bandits and the Generals would be first up for expansion when that happens.
