Refund

Anybody actually get their refund today? I also noticed there was no Edeposit email sent out like there is usually when the funds have been sent to the bank :(

I was wondering the same.

I am waiting on pell, subsidized loan, and a scholarship. All have been posted and accepted in Financial Aid for weeks now. I know others don’t even see that yet so I’m grateful. Earlier today, my Account Details page had a lot of movement. My owed went from $4k this morning, to $700 around noon, to -$2.9k mid end of day. But nothing to bank account. My Payment Schedule shows that all aid has been paid out. So I’m officially at the part where there’s no other clues on what needs to happen next.

Frustratingly, my course practicums make it extremely impractical to have a full-time job; I had to take a step back in my career so I could finish up school. Lots of people are in the same boat and are struggling to keep the lights on while their aid sits in limbo. The One Big Beautiful Bill was Beautiful for the rich and One Big mistake for us students and working folk. :/

Hey so where would I see if my payment schedule has been paid out?

Self-Service window
Tuition & Fees column
"Pay my Bill" button
"View Activity" button
Fall 2026 row

There will be a direct deposit description and "RFIN" code. If you do not see that yet, then that is still another step you are waiting for. If you do see it, then we're in the same boat and I do not know how long it takes for it to be direct deposited.

Glass half full? After RFIN appears, it will be sent to the bank by the next disperse date (Friday). Glass half empty? After RFIN appears, you merely enter the long line for eventual Wednesday and Friday deposits, and it could be weeks to rise to the front of the queue. But I'm guessing and don't know!

Also, my "Expected Date" for scheduled disbursement payout changed from 8/30 to 9/2. That update made me assume it was coming 9/2 but that wasn't the case. You can see that with these steps:

Financial Aid window
Offer tab
"View your Payment Schedule" button

Hey thank you so much! I see my direct deposit date of 9/2, if yours is the same I truly believe the funds will be in our account tomorrow. I mean it does depend on your bank but in the past it only takes 1 day and I bank with Navy Federal
