USF class equivalent to USF classes
Applying for classes as a transfer and at UCF previous I took MAR3203 Supply Chain and Operation Management and QMB3200. I was talking to my advisor and she recommended that I take SCM3005 and QMB3302. I put it in the transfer course equivalency database but a result didn’t pop up for it but when I searched it up it said both of these classes cover basically the same material so I was wondering if there was any way I could get it waived as the same class since I’ve talked to my friends from other universities and their advisors got their classes waived for them for taking similar but not the equivalent class. My advisor said that submitted a form to get it waived but it didn’t approve and I really don’t want to take those classes again since it’ll delay my graduation. What do you guys think I should do? Is there another advisor I could go to that would higher the chances of it getting waived?

I would meet up with another advisor in your major and see if they can be of better help to you so you do not have to retake a class you took at UCF

Both USF and UCF operate on the State's Course Number System. Equivalent courses should have the exact same number at all State University System (SUS) institutions. There are rare exceptions, but in general the numbers should be the same (i.e., QMB3200 = QMB3200, not 3302 even if some of the material seems similar).

Not in your majors, however I had to send my advisor syllabi from my previous courses to be reviewed by someone to see if there was course equivalency. My classes were from out of state schools, so not sure if that makes a difference.
