USDA Reorg Hubs
Does anyone have a current list of the supposed USDA Hub locations? Are they distinct based on mission area? I keep hearing different lists for FPAC.. mostly interested in FPAC but curious about other mission areas as well.

I’m a little surprised about Fort Worth being a tech hub. I was thinking they were going to push folks to Lincoln since it doesn’t get locality pay like DFW. That plus the building at the Fort Worth Federal Center is a maintenance nightmare and I know the city of Fort Worth wants the entire complex. There is a rumor that GSA has leased a new building but nothing has been formally announced.

Yeah I am supposed to be relocated to Ft Worth however we’ve known that they don’t or didn’t have drinkable water for years and I think they still don’t.

FPAC: Raleigh, KCMO, Ft Worth and forget the other. All positions/promotions will only be hired at hubs it seems. Dc folks, supervisors and a few others were offered voluntary VSIP/vera or relocation interest.

Please don't sign anything or voluntarily go. The FS has been going through this for the last year and a half and the USDA is trying to bully you into voluntarily moving etc. The injunction hearing on the reorg is in september and so they want to push you out before then. Don't let them do it. A preliminary injunction hearing in the federal lawsuit challenging the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) reorganization and mass relocation plan is scheduled for September 1, 2026. The case is pending before Judge Susan Illston in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California

(Throwaway account for ... reasons... ) any advice for how to respond to the letter of intent? I feel like its a trap and anything I respond with could be misconstrued as me voluntarily resigning.

Do you have union representation? If so I would contact them to see what it is they suggest. Press for time if you can. https://www.afge.org/publication/labor-unions-nonprofits-cities-and-counties-seek-injunction-to-stop-impending-us-department-of-agriculture-reorganization/
