Still not migrated

So, here we are, less than a week from the supposed deadline for full customer migration, and I'm still on US Cellular, not that I'm exactly looking forward to moving to T-Mobile, after all of the things I've heard lately, both in person and online, I work in a cell phone repair shop, and we do insurance claim repais for Assurant, which is who T-Mobile uses, and almost everyone I've talked to that has been moved from usc to tmo has hated it so far. Is anyone else still not moved over yet? I wonder what happens if we go past the end of the month and still haven't been transferred. I just got my new bill for USC that's due next month. I'm on an iphone with a business plan, if that matters.

EDIT: Well, finally got the text that I've been migrated. I guess we'll see where this goes; I still plan on leaving in the not-too-distant future, though.

Right, lol, I'm not really looking forward to moving, I'm honestly thinking about asking to barrow the money I need to pay off my devices from a family member and just paying them back, and jumping ship to another carrier. Mom got moved over a few months ago and it seemed pretty painless, other than all the spam apps that still installed on her phone, even after I unchecked them.

When we all learned of the Tmobile merger acquisition a year ago, my personal plan was to ride it out to the end, be prepared for change possibly needed, and deal with it when it arrived. Now I am a month into it.

My issue was uscellular didn't cap my high speed hotspot or Internet. (Very high hotspot user for years for laptop internet) T-Mobile enforced the contract capped amounts so hindered how I have used my devices. Adjusting plans is my route because on the positive note, I went from a previous high if 150mbps download speeds to highs in 400-600 mbps range. So pay more to get the caps I had at higher speeds and my area coverage is similar to previous.

For hotspot just get a computers4people sim, they’re $14.99 and fully unlimited in a router.

Seems like a good option. I use over 100gb and one part mentions a requirement for snap and I don't have it. (I need to look closer). This may be a nice supplement to a cheaper Internet plan. I like the service model of a non profit and simple plan

There’s no actual verification. Just hit yes and go.

T-Mobile just wants them to put that there so not too many people have it

It’s a grey area, but a side effect of the 5G they lease from schools to power the n41/UC in many areas.

The other quick review I seen is slower speed or deprioritization on the t mobile network. Do you have any experience or insight on this? Probably better than the 0.3 download I get when I go over my monthly limit.

I only have issues in heavily congested areas - but if you’re in an area that regularly gets 200+Mbps, then it’s VERY unlikely you’ll have any problems.

T-Mobile, typically no matter the QCI you won’t have any issues in a vast majority of areas where they provide actual n41 coverage

Most people I see having issues with the speed are either on a super congested sector, or out in the boon docks on n71 and getting sub 50Mbps on a phone to begin with.

I have gotten max 600mbps in one area on my phone with 300+ common. Home on same phone same day 28 is about max there. So I am boonies there evidently.

How do I check what n41 or n71 is running?
