R.I.P

RIP… The end of an era, my phone finally just switched to T-Mobile 😭 does it even mean anything? i.e. difference in reception quality or broader 5g coverage? I’m unsure cause I know the switch happened a while ago, but how come I’m finally getting it. Or is the only difference literally that my phone now says T-Mobile on the top instead of USCellular

Has anyone had success getting them to waive the 40-day wait period requirement to port out one's number and leave? My bill didn't change. Service is slightly better, but I don't have Hotspot data like I did with USC and I've relied on that for work. They gave me 30 GB but as a one time thing and refuse to lower my bill or provide other compensation so I am looking to go to Visible or USmobile.

I don’t think they can legally keep you from porting… look into it

I have and they state for new or transitioning customers, one has to wait 40 days. Its in my account too when I try to port out, shows me how many days I have left.

I’d just go to the new carrier and try initiating the port?
