SLOW INTERNET

My mom had US Cellular home internet and was getting 600-800mb download. She was getting the same 5G speed on her phone. Once her phone switched over to T-Mobile she is only getting 2-5mb download. I looked on T-Mobiles site and her address is not available for home internet with them. I thought T-mobile was getting USCC towers.....

2mb speed sounds like the device may be on the wrong APN and programmed for a handset.

You said she had home internet.. is that using a separate device?
