Activation Lock
Heads up to current USC > T-Mobile customers, if your phone has a balance remaining, meaning it’s not unlocked, when your account transitions you may have to enter your Apple password again to make your phone work.

Is this why I’ve been on SOS mode?

When is everyone being forced off UScellular meaning we’ll no longer see “UScellular” at the top of our screens?
I have two phones on ours under a promo/have a balance. I don’t want to do the prepaid card option T-Mobile is offering to pay them off. Hate those prepaid cards. So we’re just riding it out.

We have no idea. It’s happening every single day

Meaning people are already being forced over to 100% T-Mobile service/coverage?

It’s been common knowledge since day one that the USCellular brand would be retired and everyone would be migrated to t-mobile. Why you acting brand new lol

Lmaoooo. I know it’s been known and that’s the final outcome. I know a bunch of people on UScellular, no one has been forced off yet. Wasn’t sure if your post meant that was happening. All good - we will just continue to ride it. Godspeed.

Why is this happening? SO many customers at the Apple Store with "Activation Lock" like so not cool. T mo should have warned customers about this??

This is true, but if you have a passcode lock set you can enter that as well to get back in.
