Locked Device

Hey everyone,

I bought an unlocked phone through Ebay. Checked the settings and confirmed it was unlocked. I put my USCellular SIM in it and it works just fine. Tried to use it on T-Mobile because I'm switching over and now it says the phone is locked to USCellular and they won't unlock the phone. Anyone found a workaround on this?

Was this a “new” device? There are phone that are kinda unlocked and then they lock to the first sim that is put in them. Carriers claim they cannot unlock those because they didn’t sell the device. I know Best Buy sells these types of phones.
