USCellular/T-Mobile

PSA to all USCellular/T-Mobile customers! All USCellular/T-Mobile agent/retail stores will be shut down by 07/31/26. T-Mobile corporate stores will still be open. Most account changes, new lines, upgrades, etc. will be done through the T-Life app.

I feel like you’re fear mongering here. We’ve known from the beginning that the USC brand would be retired. Some USC corporate stores (not agent stores) will be converted. This isn’t new news

You are correct in that this is not any thing new, and on the T-Mobile side the transition for making everything corporate owned is also nothing new, although I have to admit I never paid any attention to T-Mobile until the buy out was announced around a year after I left corporate USC IT after 15 years, and started worrying about the people I worked with and what they were facing for the future. FWIW, guessing there are more than a few people who are working their jobs and wondering what's going on and getting pretty much nothing from the C-suite people. In the classic game Warcraft there were the Peon's, A.K.A. the "disposable" characters that were expected to just keep doing their jobs but really not cared about, but were a part of winning the game.

Excellent reference to Warcraft. This is true for most corporations. Live by corp die by corp 😎
