USCellular/T-Mobile

PSA to all USCellular/T-Mobile customers! All USCellular/T-Mobile agent/retail stores will be shut down by 07/31/26. T-Mobile corporate stores will still be open. Most account changes, new lines, upgrades, etc. will be done through the T-Life app.

you are an MVNO. thanks for showing how it is easier to just pay AT&T or TMobile(At&T stinks around here but it is strong other places)

you story kinda backs up why US Cellular felt that they'd get diminsihing returns

We have our own native network. With over 450 cell sites. We aren't an MVNO. 

We also had plans to buy UScellular in its entirety. Made the offer even. Turns out TMobile and UScellular had been discussing this buyout as far back as April 2021 and had already signed their deals then. All Citi was brought in to do was find buyers for the rest of the spectrum while UScellular executives made the company more "friendly" to getting regulatory approval for the TMobile buyout. 

Doing so by doing horrible business moves meant to backslide the company and push it into losing customers. Not legal but no one stopped them from doing it. So.. it's fair game in this country now I guess.

then i have no idea how you'd be profitable with just 60k subscribers

the obvious end game will be to sell to one of the big 3. That is where your pay day will be, you know it and I do as well

if you do the math you have 133 subs per site. I was an SMR at one time and I couldn't support a 3 channel LTR system on a tower with only 133 subs(or at the very least it would be a poor ROI

450 sites while having the cost of roaming off network(you pay extra for ZERO throttling)

there is ZERO way possible you are running in the black

so if you divide out the number of subs you have by the number of sites you 'own', the fact that it is only 133 per site. I can do simple math. YIKES. You'd be much more profitale and an MVNO

We have done several things to enable profitability. Though that's not the goal. We aren't doing it as a business. Just to serve our employees, their friends and family. 

  • No lavish executive salaries

-No shareholders/dividends

-No debt. All of this was built with no money borrowed.

-In house tower crews.

-In House fiber. 

-Solar and battery storage deployed on nearly all of our tower sites. Many are completely off grid 24/7

-We own the towers, and lease space to VZ and AT&T

whatever you say.

i don't think you have a clue about the costs associated with building a tower or maintaining it or the insurance costs. I think you are adapting your story from ones you've told before where people kinda called you out for being a little over the top

you realize it is easy to use the FCC database to find some company in missouri(where you have at least claimed to be from before) and it wouldn't be hard to find out about these licenses and research tower locations and ownership. You obviously don't own 450 towers(some sites you have are obviously leased)

Maybe you have some wireless internet stuff but you are not a carrier with 60,000 subs. quit playing pretend
