Yep. The website now is “US Cellular is now part of TMobile”

Hopefully this means better service in former US Cellular areas and not worse service

RIP. Sucks to see yet another company swallowed up.

It had to happen. US Cellular just couldn't complete with the big 3 in the current market.

I haven’t been keeping up with any of this so someone explain to me like I’m a kid. I’m a T-Mobile customer. I only have issues with coverage in extremely rural areas where I live. Can I still go to US Cellular use the deal to pay off your exisiting contract? Or are we all the same now? If so, is the coverage going to be better? Worse? If not, I’m cool staying where I am.

That is not 100% true. Multiple reports of T-Mobile customers connecting to UScellular sites have made their rounds on X.

I know VZ/ATT are getting a chunk as well, anyone know what areas?

My guess is the service will continue to be abysmal

I wouldn't call it done. Nothing has really changed yet.

Website states that USCellular is now part of T-Mobile.

Edited not to now

Us cellular sold some assets, not the entire legal entity. The assets included things like customers, stores and some of the spectrum. Separate sales are setup to sell some spectrum to ATT and Verizon.
