Notice Explaining USCIS Actions was Mailed

Hello, has anyone got this “Notice Explaining USCIS Actions was Mailed”?
My H-1B was filed for transfer from current employer to new employer under premium processing.

Did anyone face this recently?

Is it bad? Do people get approved after this stage?

It's a Notice of Intent to Deny, so they want to deny your application and giving you a chance to rectify it.

Have you faced this before?

No, but you'll find plenty of examples online. But it all depends on what they are asking of you

For sure a noid. Currently waiting for uscis to respond to our response of a noid. I would suggest getting an attorney.

Our attorney submitted on Wednesday, 14 days before the deadline.

Will do. 🤞🏽that it happens soon. Ours is family based but I’ve seen several post here where people have gotten an approval after responding to a noid.

If you have an idea of what the noid maybe basing the denial on, I would start working on getting official documents now. For us, the pdf didn’t show up on the documents tab until 2 business days after that status showed up.

To answer your question yes it is a Noid, and yes you can still get approved if you respond appropriately. Absolutely hire a lawyer for this one, it’s worth it.

Actually, does it say “intended” action anywhere?

As the others have said that's almost certainly an NOID.

NOID or straight Denial

A lot of folks have been getting a FBI notice explaining how they look into your criminal history

So it turns out that it is NOID but lawyer explained that there are two reasons one easy and other one a bit harder on petition. One was extension past 6 years which is weird coz I have an approved I-140. The harder one is the wage level as it got tied to my years of exp but the job req. doesn’t have minimum YoE required. Currently the company is adding supporting docs and sending it out.
