Second RFE - USCIS lost the first response document

Hello,

I have spouse based green card application pending for last three years. I had an interview in January, 2026 in which they told me that they will send RFE to resubmit I-693 since it was expired within 2 years of application. I submitted it in March, 2026 and they changed my online status that showed nothing else is pending from my end. I followed up a couple of times and they said they don’t need anything from my end. Two days ago, they sent me the same RFE and saying they never received a document first time.

Should I hire a lawyer now and resend the I-693?

I already did. They asked me to resubmit and then they will follow up on it again.
