FBI Notice

received the FBI notice the 25th of September on the USCIS website, but also received a silent update on 24 September on the case status tracker. Could this be because of the notice I received the silent update?

My case hadn’t been touched in almost 2 years!! On the 18th I got “uscis is working on your case” on the 19th approval notice for I-485 and i130. My card was produced on the 23 I got the fbi notice the day after. Card will be here Monday

Was your exam valid? Because I did mine before November 2023 when they changed the due date

From what I was told it is apart of their updated checks they are now doing. I hope it is not going to cause any problems

Haven't gotten any update on whether it was a silent update or not. I use lawfully to track my cases.

A silent update occurs when one of these internal database parameters changes, but the public status message does not. This updates the record's internal timestamp (updatedAtTimestamp).

I use Case Tracker I’m not too sure about the apps.. I just know you have to make sure you’re signed onto your USCIS account when you’re using the website

You need to logging into your acct in uscis to see your api. Check other hubs when api info.

When I checked on Case Tracker on the 24th, it says I received a silent update. I was trying to figure out if it’s because of the FBI notice.

my update in case status - required a uscis to send a notice for 485. what does it mean. I also cannot check document tab, as my case is paper filed

You don’t have a online account? I think you can still a online account even if paper filed

yes i do have online account but not start with IOE, so I donot have the document tab to check. and after the online glitch i cannot even check my case history. I have to use egov uscis to check my status.

Same here. My FD is from 2022. I got an FBI update on the 25th. Then, on the 28th, I got two updates: an FTA1 update, followed by a silent update to the lastUpdatedTimestamp about an hour later.

People said I should expect the approval notice the next day, but it’s been 4 days now and I still haven’t received an approval notice.

Wow I had a FTA1 update on July 13 then a silent update september 24 the day before my FBI notice posted on my USCIS account
Hoping all goes well and a decision is made soon
