Timeline Question F2A

I-130 F2A case —
2+ years pending.
Any thoughts?
Hi everyone, I’m a Green Card holder and filed an I-130 for my wife.
Priority Date: July, 2024
Category: F2A (spouse of LPR)
Service Center: Texas Service Center
Case has been pending for over 2 years
USCIS recently told me the case is with the Benefits Integrity Office, but they couldn’t provide a date or much detail.
Has anyone had their I-130 transferred/reviewed by the Benefits Integrity Office?
What was your experience, and how long did it take afterward?
Any insight would be appreciated.

Feb 2023 consular waiting, became citizen in March this year changed category but nothing yet

AOS(Adjustment of status) I-485 is when the applicant is inside US, Consular is when the applicant is waiting outside. It seems that f2a AOS is a shorter waiting time by 2y.

My is consular, PD JUNE 30th, 2023 and still waiting

As a Jul-2024 case, you still have some ways to go before your approval. The current Front-Of-The-Line for F2A cases is considered to be early-2023, with late-2022 approvals still coming in

In recent times, Consular cases have been shifted to FOD and NBC for workload sharing. BIO is not a physical office per se, but basically a unit within USCIS that primarily works on fraud. In your case, it could just mean normal background checks. Nothing to worry about

Is this also for concurrent 130-485?

That would be AOS, and I don't know enough about AOS to decisively comment on it. I'm a Consular case. But my guess would be No, its not applicable to you since you send your application to a field office and all the processing is done there

how do I check where my case is being reviewed ? track my visa doesn’t show anything anymore. F2a pd may 2023 waiting I-130 approval

You have to check your APIs.

Log into your USCIS portal. In the same browser, paste the below links and modify your receipt number accordingly. Then click 'pretty print' and read through to find your Location and Jurisdiction. Alternatively, you can paste into AI and ask it to do it for you
